    FMH PDP - Risk Assessment Workshops 2025 | PCL-R and PCL:SV

    Psychopathy is a form of personality disorder that includes a range of interpersonal, affective and behavioural features. It is an important construct in the forensic mental health and criminal justice systems. This three-day master class workshop will provide participants with the appropriate knowledge to apply the PCL-R and PCL:SV in forensic clinical practice. This will include a comprehensive overview of the nature of the construct, its relationship with and differentiation from other personality disorders such as Antisocial and Dissocial Personality Disorder, and the role of psychopathy in risk assessment and treatment planning.

    FMH PDP - Risk Assessment Workshops 2025 | CPORT

    The Child Pornography Offence Risk Tool (CPORT), now in its third version, is a seven-item actuarial risk assessment instrument specifically developed for and validated in people with CSAM offending. It has demonstrated reliability and predictive validity in research across several jurisdictions over the last decade, and at present in practice it is arguable that it should be used when assessing CSAM cases. This workshop will provide an overview of the latest research and practice literature on CSAM offending, including a detailed up-to-date review of what is known about recidivism, risk factors and the applicability of risk assessment instruments.

    FMH PDP - Risk Assessment Workshops 2025 | SARA-V2 and SARA-V3

    The Spousal Assault Risk Assessment Guide – Versions 2 and 3 are two variants of the most utilised Structured Professional Judgment guidelines designed for use in cases of intimate partner violence. This two-day workshop will provide forensic practitioners with the knowledge and skills to effectively use both versions of the SARA in applied practice.
